12 The Heart of a Disciple Maker | Colossians 4:7-18

Paul was such a different person before he came to Christ, he was quite a ruthless, quite self-centered, very interested in climbing the spiritual ladder of Judaism. To see the Apostle Paul who previously was a persecutor of the church and was chasing
the Christians down and having them arrested, and as a result many of them were martyred because of his involvement. It's an amazing thing to me that this man loves people, that he's so different and that he's so transformed. 

That's exactly what the Bible says happens when somebody comes to Christ.  Before we were Christians, we were like every other person. Our personalities are all different and some are more loving than others, and some are more serving than others, and some are more compassionate than others.
