3. Appointed For His Glory: Ephesians 1:7-12

Ephesians chapter 1 we're going to be looking specifically at verses 7 through 12 but to get the context I want to begin at the beginning, and we'll read through verse 14. I've entitled the message "Appointed For His Glory"

When we come across a passage like this, if I didn't know better and I didn't know Christ and I hadn't been walking with a lord so long, I'd say could this possibly be true is what Paul is saying in this passage? Is this even remotely possible that God would, for people like us and you know what you're like I know what I'm like, he would be so generous and so kind and so rich in his in his pouring out toward those that call on his name. yet, we find that Paul in this explosion of praise for God and a revelation to the Church of this kindness of God he Maps for a sum not all but some of the blessings that God has given us and so we've talked about the fact that all of these blessings find their origin in God the Father who the Bible tells us chose us and he chose us to be holy and without blame before him in love and he predestined us to receive adoptions as sons and daughters of God and he accepted us in Christ.
