Enjoy this audio podcast of a sermon message Pastor Bob Hallman delivered 07/31/2016 In his Colossians Series
One of the very first things Paul does before he does anything else, before he corrects the doctrine or talks about the supremacy of Christ he's going to simply pray for the church in Colossae. I find it very interesting because when I was thinking about the fact that his first response is prayer. First of all, it tells us the power of prayer that that's more important than even logic and even more important than persuasion. The other thing it tells me is that you've got two guys that care about people that are a thousand miles away and they can't be there, so they pray. Paul shows us the way.

2 The Evidence of True Christianity | Colossians 1:3-8
Wednesday Jul 13, 2022
Wednesday Jul 13, 2022
Colossians 1:3-8. The evidence of true authentic Christianity is that it's a life of service. So, when you see somebody that's truly born again. one of the things you're going to see is that they they're serving. They're finding ways to serve. It's not just in the church, it's just that their life is available to God. They serve in the church because God makes it clear that that were to use our gifts for the edification and strengthening and building up of the body of Christ.

As we celebrate #resurrectionSunday, we hope you'll enjoy audio from a replay of a message Pastor Bob delivered April 17, 2016, titled "The Apocalypses (Revelation)"
In this Sunday Sermon, Pastor Bob talks about the resurrection. It's the center piece of the entire Gospel message. It's been called the hinge of history because everything swings on that historical event. Everything before that is past history, and everything from that time is new history.

This is the audio from a Good Friday message Pastor Bob Hallman Delivered April 2, 2021, in Kauai Hawaii.
The work that Christ did on the cross was on Extrusion.
When you are in the hopeless pit of despair, in the middle of a fiery trial, Jesus understands how you feel. And we can take from His example, and His life, and His response, that even in fieriest of trials, even in the worst of extrusions, the Father will never leave you and NEVER forsake you and there is glory and priceless transformation on the other side of your extrusion.

In this audio clip from a full sermons Pastor Bob Hallman delivered.
In chapter 21 all the way through chapter 26 we have the compression of five days all taking place within these within these chapters.
On Saturday before the Passover Feast, Jesus came to Jerusalem along with many other pilgrims probably to two and a half to three million people that would crowd into this little town of Jerusalem and they came from all over the region to be able to celebrate the Passover as Jews. Jesus came with them.

Enjoy this audio version of a message Pastor Bob Hallman delivered 4/13/2008 to the church body titled Vindicated by God (Acts 28:1-31)
The Apostle Paul was arrested on false charges by the Jews of starting riots in Ephesus and defiling the temple courts. He was brought before several Roman officials who found him to be innocent of the charges, but because of the fear of the Jews, failed to release Paul, he appealed his case to Caesar and was put on a grain ship heading to Rome. The ship was caught in hurricane force winds and after a harrowing two weeks on the sea, ran aground on the island of Malta. This is where we pick up the story.

46-Weathering Life's Storms (Acts 27:1-44)
Sunday Feb 07, 2021
Sunday Feb 07, 2021
I find it interesting the number of times we find ships caught in storms in the Bible:
Noah on his way to a new beginning for mankind - Gen 6-9
Jonah on his way to Tarshish - Jonah 1:4-5
The disciples on their way to the other side of the Sea of Galilee - Mark 6:45-52
Why? Because violent storms in our lives often advance the purposes of God:
1. They humble us remind us of our need to rely on God
They free us from earthly entanglements and misguided priorities 3. They provide a backdrop for God’s glory, power and deliverance

45-Three Men--Two Destinies (Acts 26:1-32)
Sunday Feb 07, 2021
Sunday Feb 07, 2021
A review of the purpose of the Luke’s letters – Luke and Acts:
To give an orderly account of Christianity - Luke 1:1-4
To verify the arrival of the promised Holy Spirit
To explain the disciple’s remarkable transformation
To document the birth and growth of the church
To justify the inclusion of the Gentiles
To bridge the gap between the gospels and the epistles
To present a defense for Paul’s apostleship to Rome
Luke may have been preparing a trial-brief for Paul’s upcoming hearing in Rome. It is quite possible that Theophilus was a Roman official in charge of administering Paul's case before Caesar, and that the gospel and Acts were written to help him understand the facts of Jesus Christ and Paul's role in the history of the church.
Three pictures of three very different men hang before us -- Paul, Festus and Agrippa. They represent three types of individuals of every generation:
Those who are followers of Jesus Christ
Those who are open to the claims of Christ
Those who are Christ-rejecting antagonists of Christ
But no matter the number of people or the number of religions in the world, there are only two destinies: Heaven or Hell!

44-The Buck Stops...? (Acts 25:1-27)

The Buck Stops Here
President Harry Truman made this saying famous in 1945 when he commissioned a plaque for his White House desk that said in bold letters, “The Buck Stops Here!”
The origin of the phrase comes from a slang term from the game of Poker during the frontier days. The dealer would switch every hand and would be designated by a knife with a buckhorn handle. If a person preferred to not deal, he would “Pass the Buck”, which came to mean “passing the responsibility on to someone else”.
In his farewell address to the American people given in January 1953, President Truman referred to this concept very specifically when he said, "The President--whoever he is -- has to decide. He can't pass the buck to anybody. No one else can do the deciding for him. That's his job!”
